I am a 70 year old Vietnam Vet. I am not nearly as fit as I once was and I just about gave up on hunting elk or mule deer in Colorado. That wa suntil I met Pete Severson at the CA. Sports show. This meeting was a life changer. Not only did they help me get a nice 6x6 bull but the folllowing season they helped me get a 4x4 mulie....as long as I am able to hunt, this is the only outfitter I would consider hunting with.

The following is my personal experience hunting with the above outfitter during the 2014 and 2015 season. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly with a family setting. Each and everyone of them bent over backwards to make sure I got my deer both seasons first in 2014 and then again in 2015. They feed you with great home cooked meals made fresh each day. I've hunted with outfitters in Wyoming, Idaho and Colorado. Believe me none of them came close to anything that I've got from Severson Outfitters. I'm moving to Idaho but I will still be hunting with Severson Outfitters every year. I did a father son hunt with my Dad in Iowa with Pete and Severson Outfitters. Accommodations were top notch, Pete knew his stuff and what he had to do to put us on trophy class animals. Me being a bowhunter Pete had exceptional knowledge of the animals we were hunting and was able to give me all the advice I needed to make a successful spot and stalk on a gold medal class painted desert ram. I would recommend Severson Outfitters to all my friends or anyone looking to go on a hunt that they would remember for a lifetime. I have had the pleasure of hunting with Pete Severson for over 6 years. From the first hunt Pete has always gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my hunts are successful and enjoyable. Whenever my husband or I have a new trophy in mind, Pete is our first call. With my family, we have harvested over 30 animals with Pete. I signed up with Severson Outfitters to hunt Colorado Mule Deer in October 2014. Owner, Pete Severson was very hard working and proved to be a man of his word. I have never been on a guided deer hunt and didn't know what to expect. As it turned out I shot a nice 4 point. Pete never made false promises and provided us with top notch accommodations and plenty of good food. He introduced us to his family and as it turned out his dad was also a guide and great guy. I would have no hesitation hiring him for another hunt, in fact I would be hesitant to trust anyone else because of what he was able to deliver.
